Hot Springs Public Schools #14-J Resolution and Notice Resolution of Intent to Impose an Increase in Levies As an essential part of its budgeting process, the Hot Springs School Board of Trustees is authorized by law to impose levies to support its budget. The Hot Springs School Board of Trustees estimates the following increases/decreases in revenues and mills for the funds noted below for the next school fiscal year beginning July 1, 2022, using certified taxable valuations from the current school fiscal year as provided to the district: Fund Supported Estimated Change in Estimated Change in Revenues Estimated Impact, Home Estimated Impact, Home of of $100,000* Mills* $200,000 Transportation $ 107,991 increase $63.71 increase $ 127.42 increase 47.19 increase Bus Depreciation $ 6047 increase $ 3.58 increase $7.16 increase 2.65 increase $ 2264 increase $ 1.34 increase $ 2.68 increase Tuition 0.99 increase Adult Education $ 380 increase 0.17 increase $0.23 increase $.46 increase Flexibility $ increase O increase $0.00 increase $0.00 increase Building Reserve $ 1676 decrease $1.98 decrease 0.73 decrease $0.99 decrease $ 114,545 increase $ 5.79 increase $ 111.58 increase Total 41.32 increase *impacts above are based on current certified taxable valuations from the current school fiscal year Regarding the increase in the building reserve levy referenced above, the following are school facility maintenance projects anticipated to be completed at this time: 1.
