Attention river users This spring, the very high flows on the Clark Fork River forced NorthWestern Energy to release several steel spillway beams on Thompson Falls Dam so the excess water and debris could safely pass through. Those beams now need to be replaced which will require us to lower reservoir levels. If you live near the reservoir, please: .Consider removing docks and boats from the water to avoid damage as water levels drop Use extra caution navigating the shallow reservoir .
