PLAINS PUBLIC SCHOOLS Kindergarten Roundup & Early Childhood Screening Thursday, March 28th 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Elementary School Parents of students who will be entering kindergarten should bring proof of immunizations, their child's birth certificate, and the child's social security card. Students must turn 5 on or before September 10, 2024 to be eligible to enroll in kindergarten. Plains Public Schools will be using enrollment numbers to help determine the number of kindergarten classes being offered next year. Please make sure that you register your child for kindergarten if he/she will be attending kindergarten next year. Developmental screening will be available for children birth to six years old and includes hearing, speech and readiness skills. The nurse will be available.
