Ashley is running for District Court Judge because she believes in a more holistic approach for the Judicial Branch. In all cases, Ashley will strictly adhere to the Constitutions of Montana and the United States while performing her duties. Likewise, she will follow precedent law and decisions as determined by the Courts and Legislature. In the criminal Court she wants to implement a judicial philosophy for cases that can address community-based ways to help treat addiction and mental health issues and ultimately help reduce recidivism. Thus, ultimately saving the tax payer and society valuable time and money.
