NOTICE OF METHOD OF COUNTING ABSENTEE BALLOTS Absentee ballots will be publicly removed from their secrecy envelopes starting as early as 8am by an Absentee Counting Board on Monday, November 2,2020. Absentee ballots will be then counted on Election Day, starting as early as 8am at the County Courthouse located at 300 River Street, as specified in 13-15-201, MCA, by the following method: DS200 Central Scanner and Tabulator by election judges appointed to count absentee ballots while the polls are open. Any person observing the procedure of the count is required to take the oath provided in 13-15-207(4)MCA. NOTICE OF PUBLIC TEST FOR ELECTION EQUIPMENT A test of the Ballot Counting Machines, to certify accuracy of the procedure will be conducted Thursday, October 29, 2020 at 10:00 am in the office of the Mineral County Clerk and Recorder, Mineral County Courthouse, Superior Montana. All candidates, representatives of all political parties and the general public are invited to observe this test.
