Mineral County Road Dept. Invitation for bid This year Mineral County Road Department will be accepting sanding material bids for the following; 2020 Sanding Material Bid 2020 Sawmil Gulch Pit The bid will be for the purchase of 2500 cubic yards of sanding material that has been screened though a 5/8-inch screen. This material will be hauled off site by Mineral County Road Department. This material must be screened and stockpiled no later than November 1, 2020. The haul distance will also be calculated into the decision at a rate of 5 mpg at current fuel cost. The second part of our bid will be 2000 cubic yards of material that must be screened though a 5/8-inch screen on site at Mineral County's Sawmill gulch pit. This material must be screened and stockpiled at the sawmill pit by no later than November 1, 2020. Bid packages must be turned in no later than 4:00 p.m. on September 10th 2020. Bids will be opened on September 11, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. in the Commissioner's room of the Mineral County Courthouse. Please return sealed bids and mark your sealed bid, "Sanding Material Bid" or "Sawmill Gulch Pit". Sealed bids can be mailed to P.0. Box 550, Superior, MT 59872 or delivered in person to the Clerk and Recorders office located at 300 River Street, Superior, MT 59872 Within seven days of bid opening, winning bidder must provide proof of the following: 1. Liability insurance 2. Work comp 3. Contractor I.D. # 4. MSHA # Mineral County reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Payment will be made upon completion of próject.
