Employment Opportunity Mineral County Road Department EQUIPMENT OPERATOR This position is a full-time position as Equipment Operator for the Mineral County Road Department. This position performs laborer and mechanical duties of operating and servicing heavy equipment. This position is responsible for safe operation, maintenance and upkeep of all road department equipment and facilities. Knowledge of equipment, diesel and gas engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems, is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Experience with road construction and operating heavy equipment, experience with truck driving, grader operation, and snowplowing is preferred. Must possess a valid state of Montana Commercial driver's license, Class A type 1 or 2. All applicants are required to comply with mineral county drug and alcohol testing policy. Mineral county reserves the right to reject any or all applications for the position, and re advertise if there are not sufficient qualified applicants. Application packages can be picked up beginning May 12, 2021 from the Clerk and Recorders office, Human Resources office or the Mineral County Road Department.
