COUNTY PROHIBITS OUT OF COUNTY DUMPING AT SANDERS REFUSE SITES The Sanders County Refuse Sites at Plains, Thompson Falls, Trout Creek, Noxon and Heron cannot accept refuse from other counties. Sanders County does not have the resources necessary to receive and manage waste debris from neighboring counties. A permitting program for refuse disposal is being developed as a result of the problem created by out-of-county dumping. A surveillance system is on site.
