HOT SPRINGS SCHOOL DISTRICT NOTICE OF SPECIAL LEVY ELECTION Notice is hereby given by the undersigned Election Administrator, acting on behalf of the School and Special Districts listed below, Sanders County, State of Montana that the Special Levy Election will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, by mail ballot. Ballots may be returned by mail or dropped off at the following location, during the following times: Location Hot Springs School District Office PO Box 1005 301 Broadway Hot Springs, MT 59845 Phone:406-741-2964 Times Through October 1, 2024 Monday through Thursday 8:00am to 4:30pm Election Day: Wednesday, October 2, 2024 8:00am to 8:00pm Electors will consider the following positions at the specified election: Hot Springs K-12 School District #14J General Fund levy A qualified registered elector who will be absent from the district during the time the election is being conducted may: a) vote in person in the election administrator's office as soon as the ballots are available; b) make a written request, signed by the applicant and addressed to the election administrator, that the ballot be mailed to an address other than the address that appears on the registration card. If you miss the regular registration deadline (September 2, 2024), you may still register for the election by coming to the county election office to register.
