FREE PUBLIC FIREWOOD COLLECTION The Superior Ranger District will be opening the Cabin City Campground for the public to gather and haul off free green firewood. To prepare for the summer camping season, the District has been felling multiple hazard trees within the campground. All felled trees are bucked into firewood lengths and are available to the public for taking. The Cabin City Campground will be open to the public solely for firewood collection April 28-29 and May 12-13 from 9:00am - 4:00pm. Forest Service employees will be on-site to assist with loading firewood. The campground is located at 195 Twelve Mile Cr Rd, DeBorgia, MT 59872, just off 1-90 Exit 22. You must have a valid Firewood permit; they are free of charge, and you can get them from the Superior Ranger District Office or your local Forest Service Office prior to collection.
