PUBLIC NOTICE Plains/Thompson Falls Ranger District Lolo National Forest **CORRECTIONS* Gates Open for Firewood Gathering The Plains/Thompson Falls Ranger District will open gated roads on June 1, 2019 for firewood gathering through the summer months The Following roads will be open June 1,2019 - September 1,2019: 18394 and 18396 (off of NFSR 881), near Big Rock Creek; 877 plus spur road 16083 near West Fork of Crow Creek. Cutting and/or possession of cedar is not allowed. Roads will not be brushed or cleared by the Forest Service prior to opening for firewood gathering.
