NOTICE OF ELIGIBLE VOTERS FOR THE HERON RURAL FIRE DISTRICT AND THE THOMPSON FALLS RURAL FIRE DISTRICT ELECTION DATE: May 3, 2022 by Mail Ballot Election. If you live within either of the above listed rural fire districts and are currently an active registered voter, your ballot will be mailed to you automatically. If based on the below statute you are eligible to vote in either or both of the above listed elections and wish to request a ballot please call the election office at 406-827-6949 to request a ballot request form. Per 7-33-2106. Details relating to board of trustees of fire district- election -(4) An elector, as defined in 13-1-101, who resides in the district or any holder of title to lands within the district who presents a proof of payment of taxes on the lands at the polling place is eligible to vote in the election. 13-1-101. Definitions. As used in this title, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise, the following definitions apply: (1) "Active elector" means an elector whose name has not been placed on the inactive list due to failure to respond to confirmation notices pursuant to 13-2-220 or 13-19-313.
