CALL: 406-826-3487 Mon-Thurs 8AM-4PM Base of stem has reddish-brown, stiff downward bent hairs (hair can be purple or white later in the fall). Rosettes closely resemble common dandelion. Basal leaves have deep, irregular teeth that generally point backward toward the stem base. Milk white sap throughout plant. Skeleton branched stems are 1-4 ft tall. Bright yellow flowers develop along the stem & branch tips, either singly or in clusters of 2-5 flower heads.
