NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of County Commissioners of Mineral County, Montana will conduct public hearings for the purpose of considering the final budget for fiscal year 2023-2024 (FY24); setting FY24 County mill levies; the proposed use of statutory levy authority for the County's health insurance plan, retirement levy and special districts which include the St. Regis Lighting District, St. Regis Park and West End Lighting District. The budget will be placed on file and open to public inspection in the Clerk and Recorders office, Mineral County Courthouse on August 31, 2023. The Board of County Commissioners of Mineral County will meet on Friday, August 18, 2023 at 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. and Friday, September 1, 2023 at 10:35 to 11:05 a.m. in the Commissioners Board Room, Mineral County Courthouse. Any taxpayer may appear at said meeting and provide testimony either for or against any part of final budget or mill levies. Final adoption of the fiscal year 2023-2024 budget shall take place on September 1, 2023.
