Notice of Preliminary Budget Hearing The preliminary budget for the Town of Plains fiscal year 23-24 has been completed and is on file and open to inspection at the office of the Town Clerk. A budget hearing will be held Monday, August 21, 2023 at 6:00 pm at City Hall. Any taxpayer in the town may appear and be heard for or against any part of the budget. Written comments will be accepted until adoption of the final budget. The governing body will meet August 21, 2023 at 6:30 pm for the purpose of approving the preliminary budget and making appropriations.
